HWC celebrates students' accomplishments with a trip to Valley Fair

Higher Works Collaborative and 21 families experienced Memphis and all the culture and history it has to offer!

As we are building up our community together, HWC (Higher Works Collaborative) invited 21 families to participate in Black Influences in America - The Memphis Experience. An endeavor to invest in our youth and their families with a memorable, educational, cultural, exciting get away that we all need after the devastation of the pandemic these last several months of our lives. The objective of this trip is to showcase some of the historical and educational contributions of African Americans of Slave Decent. Families will be given time to learn and explore independently or together as a group.
